The new Lawmate PV-500ECO2 Touchscreen Portable Analog DVR is a direct replacement for the PV-500EVO and ECO generations of DVRs. If you need analog CMOS or CCD inputs that work with your existing video cameras, this is exactly what you have been waiting for.

The Lawmate PV-500ECO2 is a simple yet very powerful portable digital video recorder. 2 different inputs. One is the standard 2.5mm Lawmate jack, the other is a 3.5mm jack. Both inputs come with a cable that features RCA-style connectors, so you can connect almost any analog camera for video recording.

With loop recording, you can choose file lengths of 3, 5, and 10 minutes. And with a menu or external switch that lets you choose between motion-activated and continuous recording, you have complete control. Not everyone needs a time and date stamp, so we give you the option to turn it on or off from the menu. The same goes for audio. Like other Lawmate DVRs, this recorder is password protected, so only an administrator can delete files. To prevent accidental touches of the touchscreen, you can set it to lock after 1, 3, or 5 minutes, or not lock at all. And of course, you can format the card and restore factory settings right from the screen.

The standard battery provides 3 hours of recording, and you can always add a 7-hour battery if you need more recording time. The device comes with a charger and a variety of remote controls. Control everything with the touchscreen or use the included IR remote when connected to a standard TV. It also has a wired remote with a slide switch when you can’t see the screen. Perfect for use under cover or when connected to a thermal imager while hunting.
